Incepted by Founding President D.S. Narasinga Rao in the year 1974, we set out on an elevating and stimulative journey with the aim of providing our children an exclusive learning experience blended with our rich culture and heritage to teach them to March ahead with Values, positive attitude, skill, confidence, sensitivity and responsibility. A school which started functioning from 12 different residences of large hearted parents, today boasts of a own building in the heart of Bangalore city, a highly competitive place where only a capable and worthy can survive. We have successfully overcome the hurdles over a period of 50 years and we are proud that we have the maximum student strength among all the schools in the vicinity and yet we are bound by the motto of providing quality education at an affordable fee structure. All this has been possible with the kind gesture assure support of the well wishers, parents, capable management, teaching faculty and the student community. We are indebted to their confidence and support and promise to serve the student community to take up on the challenges of the ever progressive world.
An unmanned canteen for students is being run by the school with an intention of strengthening the value of honesty in them. We take care to provide items of their daily requirement like stationery items and simple snacks etc. The students are free to pick the items of their choice and pay the right amount even when no one is supervising. This project has been on the run since a year and we are seeing very good results.
Communication is an essential part of our life. No sentence can be effective if it contains facts alone. It must contain emotion, logic, and promise. We can speak well, if our tongue can deliver the message of our heart. To strengthen the communication skill in our students, public speaking classes are being conducted once a week for a selected set of students. These classes are being conducted in collaboration with ‘Jana trust’.
CREATE is a program where students are trained to create music on their own.
BUILD is a program where students are trained to build structres using LEGO blocks.
Our Bhagavad Gita Education classes introduces students to the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita — a profound guide to life, ethics, and inner strength.
As India continues to accomplish great achievements in space science, we have made an effort to quench the curiosity of young learners about space through the Varahamihira space club. Students from class 5 to 9 are selected as the club members. They are educated about the accomplishments in the field of astronomy through hands-on activities, field trips to museums, and planetarium.
Keeping this in mind, we have an art club to provide a platform to our students to exhibit their talents and nourish their passion apart from the academics. We encourage various talents like singing, dancing, drama, mimicry, etc.
We take pride in nurturing responsible, disciplined, and patriotic students through our National Cadet Corps (NCC) program. Our NCC coaching empowers students with leadership skills, physical fitness, and a sense of service to the nation.
FOOTBALL training is being provided to the students. This is a 6-year training program. Students are selected from class 4, and they are trained for 6 continuous years. They are provided all necessary materials by the NGO. No expenses are to be borne by the students for this training program. Through this program, we are grooming the future football players.
